It’s almost Christmas Eve! How have you been holding up?? It has been one heck of a year hasn’t it?? I hope your family and loved ones are safe and sound. This has been a year of uncertainty, sadness, loss, injustice, high stress, high anxiety …. and the list goes on. Pretty much every unwanted emotion you have not wanted to feel, you have felt this year. And that is okay! I want to tell you that it is okay.

It has been a tough as heck year. And it is okay if you aren’t operating at your best. It is okay if you aren’t your best. It is okay if you have gained some weight. It is okay if you aren’t as holly jolly this year as you were last year. It is ALL okay!

This recipe as is is: vegan & refined sugar free. But you can tailor it to your needs and preferences!

This makes a great holiday shake to serve before or after a meal. Feels and tastes quite indulgent. No one will know how great it is for them.

Shh – you don’t have to tell them.

Sapodilla (Chikoo) Shake

vegan, refined sugar free, sweet indulgence

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen Chikoo
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 banana the more ripe the banana the better. this will give your shake a sweet flavor. using up a browned banana is perfect for this recipe
  • date syrup or 3 dates
  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups milk of choice I used hemp milk
  • splash of water if shake is too thick

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients togethers and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • I used Deep frozen chikoo 
  • if you don’t have date syrup use 3 dates. Then add more depending on how sweet you prefer your shake
  • Start with 1.5 cups of milk and then add more depending on texture preferred
