Mango Date Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mangoes
  • 8 pitted, dried dates I used dried deglet pitted noor dates
  • 1/4 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1 cup coconut water

For Garnish

  • dried cranberries
  • coconut flakes
  • chia seeds

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into bowl, or glass and enjoy! Top with chia seeds, coconut flakes & dried cranberries if desired!

Recipe Notes

  • Make sure to use frozen mangoes
  • If you want to make a smoothie, use 1 cup of coconut water. For a thicker consistency for a smoothie bowl use 3/4 cup of coconut water and then add more as needed.
  • the strength of your blender will determine the consistency. I would start with 3/4 cup of coconut water and then add accordingly.
