Lychee Rose Lassi

Light, refreshing, tangy yet subtly yogurt based sweet drink
Servings 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fat free yogurt
  • 1/3 cup light sour cream
  • 1-2 tbsps rose syrup start with 1 and adjust according to sweetness preference
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 1 20 oz can Lychees in syrup, will need 16 lychees from can
  • 2 tbsps lychee syrup from can

Instructions

  1. Add yogurt, sour cream, rose syrup, rose water, lychees and lychee syrup to a blender and blend. Serve over ice!
  2. If you’re feeling a little extra: pour some of the rose syrup to the bottom of a cup and then pour the lassi in.

Recipe Notes

  • This is recipe makes a subtly sweet lassi, if you wish to adjust to a sweeter taste feel free to add more of the rose syrup / lychee syrup.
  • You can find rose syrup, rose water & canned lychees in an Asian or Indian supermarket. (click on each of the names for the link to a similar product on amazon. Please note: it is more expensive to purchase these products on amazon, but a local Asian or Indian supermarket will have for half the price!)
  • This recipe will fill 4 champagne glasses or two 16 oz cups, so depending on how you serve it, it can serve two people or 4 people.
