Chili Garlic Ramen Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz package Kaedama Ramen Noodles; Please note: package contains two packs of ramen noodles. This recipe uses ONE pack. Double the recipe if using both packs.
  • 3 tsps sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp hing
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsps minced garlic
  • 1/2 serrano chili diced
  • 1 tbsp green onions diced
  • 1/4 cup bell peppers cut into thin 2 inch long strips
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms slice white mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp siracha sauce
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

For Garnish

  • 1 tsp green onions diced
  • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Boil and prepare noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. On medium heat, heat oil in a saucepan until hot. Add in hing, parsley, sesame seeds and allow to incorporate with oil for ~40-45 seconds, stirring occasionally. Toss in minced garlic, diced serrano chili and green onions, allow to simmer for ~30 seconds. Next add in bell peppers and mushrooms and allow to sauté for ~60 seconds. Pour in soy sauce and stir. Add siracha sauce, red pepper flakes and garlic powder. Mix all ingledients together.
  3. Toss in cooked ramen noodles and mix until sauce is completely incorporated with ramen noodles.
  4. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

  • Any 5 oz ramen noodle pack cooked and prepared according to directions can be used for this recipe. (just do not use the flavor packet)
