Strawberry Cucumber Detox Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 inch of fresh ginger root
  • 1/2 lemon wedge
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cucumber cut into pieces
  • 4 medjool dates
  • 4 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend. If you are using a Vitamix, place ingredients in the order listed above.

Recipe Notes

If you want less honey in your smoothie, start with 2 tsps of honey first and see how you like it. You can always add more after. Also depending on the sweetness of your strawberries you may need an extra date or some more honey.
