What makes this slushy so great?? Well, minimal ingredients, three to be exact and it is refined sugar free. A wholesome treat that you can feel good about. One of my favorite fruits lately has been honeydew. So that is exactly what I used in this recipe. Be sure to freeze the fruit first that is the key to the ultimate slushy.

Also make sure to a high speed blender for this recipe or a food processor to get that optimal slushy feel – warning: brain freeze may occur.

Refreshing Cucumber Melon Slushy

Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 2-3 tbsps cold water
  • 1 tbsp agave or sweetener of choice
  • 2 cups honeydew chunks frozen
  • 4-5 cucumber slices

Instructions

  1. In a high speed blender: Start with adding in 1 tbsp of cold water, agave, honeydew chunks and cucumber slices. Blend on medium power while pressing down with a tamper, slowly turn up power to high. Add in 1 to 2 tbsps of water as needed until desired consistency is reached.
  2. *since honeydew retains a lot of water, less water is used in this recipe, but feel free to add 1 tbsp at a time until slushy like texture is reached, it will depend on your blender*
