“Go easy on yourself. Whatever you do today, let it be enough.”
Go on, make yourself a pitaya smoothie. Let that be enough today! You know what I mean – seriously – whatever you do today – I challenge you to allow it to be just enough.
We often work ourselves so much, that we forget sometimes nothing is enough. Doing nothing – is doing something! It is giving yourself a break that you so desperately deserve. It is perfectly OK to do nothing at all. There are days filled with so much you barely have a minute to yourself and then there are days filled with nothing….and that is the beauty of it. Balance.
The exotic hue to this smoothie – simply brings some peace to mind! I find that dragon fruit alone does not have much of a taste – but when blended together with other fruits – it is simply delicious! You must have had a frutta bowl, or a playa bowl at some point or heard of it. This is my make at home cheaper version of that! This recipe can make a smoothie or a smoothie bowl, just read the notes!
I purchase the pitaya plus packets from the freezer aisle at a local grocery store. Pitaya plus is gaining distribution in many grocery stores now such as: Shoprite, Wegman’s, Target and Wholefoods to name a few.
However you can do a quick google or amazon search to see where else you can find these packets! Link in notes to see what these packets look like. I enjoy the taste of a banana mixed with dragon fruit, however some people do not like a strong banana, so I say play around with it to see what fits your style!
